Founded on Faith, Driven by Purpose
Al-Baraka Foundation was established with a clear purpose: to channel the spirit of Islamic charity into practical, sustainable projects that transform lives. Based in Sierra Leone, we recognized the urgent needs facing many communities—from lack of clean water to the absence of proper places of worship and education.
Our founders, driven by the Islamic principle of Ṣadaqah Jāriyah (continuous charity), set out to create an organization that doesn't just provide temporary relief but builds lasting infrastructure and capabilities. Every borehole we drill, every mosque we construct, and every educational program we support is designed to serve communities for years to come.
Today, Al-Baraka Foundation works closely with local communities, religious leaders, and international donors to ensure every project is sustainable, well-maintained, and delivers lasting benefit. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible stewardship of Zakat, Sadaqah, and all charitable funds entrusted to us.
